“Reporting for Duty” (or what I did this summer)

Did you hear my computer’s keyboard clickety clacking this summer? I was busy working on one of my all-time favorite writing assignments: “Reporting for Duty,” a feature story profiling 10 alumni from the College of the Holy Cross who have served — or are serving — in the military. The article is the Summer 2010 cover story for the College’s alumni magazine. I was humbled to interview a Medal of Honor recipient, a World War II prisoner of war, Iraq and Afghanistan veterans, and many others who have honorably served our country. Read their stories here.
